Microsoft's Zune photos and comparison to iPod

Microsoft's Zune is coming soon. Jake Ludington has a side by side photo comparison of the iPod and Zune.  Key Zune features include; WIFI, photo and music sharing, FM radio, pictures, video, and a beautiful 3 inch screen. Zune will be available November 14th and will be priced around $249.99 at retail.

The Zune music service will be available at launch with a huge catalog of music. Zune will offer singles for $.99 or unlimited downloads for $14.99 per month.

The Zune WIFI feature lets users, within WIFI range, send and receive songs. The songs will play 3 times or 3 days and then be deleted. The title stays in your history so you can later buy the single for $.99.

I think the WIFI and community sharing are going to be BIG differentiating features for the Zune. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so lets get to the photos.

Here is a comparison of the Zune and iPod side by side. Zune on top. The Zune has a bigger screen but is lighter in weight. Great engineering. Zune will be available in black, white, or brown.
