Following my interview with Craig Newmark, founder of craigslist, there have been stories popping up everywhere. Poynter Online has a story "craigslist turns revenue spigot on low" and TechDirt "puts a different spin on things", while the San Francisco Guardian likens craigslist to Wal-Mart.
Craig Newmark is one of the most unique individuals I have ever seen. He is a true community builder and has no interest in being an Internet Billionaire, which he could easily do at any time. To hear The Guardian derisively put craigslist in the same category as Wal-Mart is just annoying and plain wrong.
Read the interview with Craig and tell me what you think.
